Quirky storage ideas!

Caio Amicos!

I have always been one for the out there, crazy, storage ideas and have used so many things for an alternative purpose! From biscuit tins for paint brushes to Milkshake cups for lipsticks! I definitely like to think of myself as a creative person and am constantly trying to think of cute things to add to my bedroom. 

My bedrooms quite small so the more tightly packed the better! I definitely loved Zoella's ideas for makeup

 and jewelry but I have decided to expand that and just make it for everything! From clothes to toe rings!

I'm not saying these are that practical, or cheap but they are super cute and retro which I love!

I like to think that when I buy my own house it will be full of secrets! Little hiding places and tiny hidden boxes all over! I love the idea of having little things only special people know about, or only you, its just super cuute!

Motivational Monday #1 - QOTD

Sometimes, when we're feeling down we need something that will just put a smile to our faces. In this post I aim put a smile on as many peoples faces as possible. And sometimes, when everything seems to be going wrong, you just have to (in the nicest possible way) deal with it.(with some friendly help of course!) This may sound harsh but I've learned that only you can put a smile back on your face and if you are not willing for it to make an appearance then you can't expect someone else to bring it out for you.

Don't get me wrong, a bit of comfort can be the best thing in the world but some people just wont take it and in that case, its a problem you have to deal with, so do! 

Only you can.

As the lovely Marilyn put,

This is probably the truest thing I have read all day and in a whole lot of situations in my life I wish I could have seen this. So many friend fall outs and tiny little things that felt like the end of the world at the time, were actually just a whole new beginning for something better to come up. At the time of the ''end of the world situation''  just remember this and pick yourself up and just carry on, because something better will come up and its (most likely) not the worst thing that could have happened. 

Just remember, some people have to deal with unimaginable happenings, but they do, so can you.

OOTD- Summer essentials!

So, if I could buy absolutely anything, regardless of the price, these would be my outfits of the day. Unfortunately, it's not real as my actual OOTD would probably bore you half to death!

Thought I would mix it up a bit!

So here is a slightly crazy GIF for you of Ariana Grande in the video Baby I. The outfit in this video is completely amazing and I love it! Its the perfect hot day, casual look for the summer and i would wear it with so many different crops but this ones my favorite!

Funsies in Chester!

On bank holiday Monday, me and Hannah decided to take a trip to Chester. It was FUN TIMES. 

I decided that sometimes you just need some time out from the crazyness of life and for me, Chester is the place! I have so many happy memories here so its great to come back!

Sorry if your'e not too interested in days out but I thought I would do a slightly different post!

Reflective Sunday - do you know me?

I have been thinking, and I'm not sure about you, but I'm not sure people know me as well as I would like. So many people, even my best friends think they know me but really, I have a lot to hide. Now by no means is this for pity, or attention, but merely to offer help. To say, don't ever let it get to the stage where you feel you can not let out your true feelings for reasons like 'it's not important' because it is! And if they are true friends they wont judge, laugh, or get bored. They will care.

This song by Ben Folds has been a favorite of mine for a ling while because it describes be perfectly, and its just pure brillopads! Take a listen, and even if the words mean nothing to you, the upbeat tune sure will!!!

I have decided not to put it with the video because I must admit, its a little crazy! I will say though, give it a listen before you watch the video because the video could put you off. I l'uv it tho' :) .

Dayyym Joe Malone, Why so expensive?

Recently, I took a little trip to John Lewis and there I found these little goodies. I have been loving candles at the moment and these Joe Malone ones really are THE BEST! When I smelled the first one (on the Left, Lavender & Lovage) I fell In love, but, the one that really drew me in was 'Green Tomato Leaf'. It smells just like a tomato greenhouse, now this may sound strange to anyone who hasn't been in one of these but, anyone who has will know that it is one on the most beautiful smells in the world and this candle really captures it! It's flippin' gorgeous!!! There are also many more candles like, Sweet Almond & Macaroon, which is a sweet, rich smell just what is says on the tin!!! And Incense & Embers which is described as a relaxing candle and smells just like the forest (well, the good parts) or a warm fire.

The downside however, is sadly the price, I certainly cant justify £39 on a candle no matter how beautiful it smells, so I decided to give it a miss, now I am awaiting mt bath to run and totally regretting that! If only I could bring myself to spend every last bit of my money on candles!

My Makeup Bag

So, a few people have recently asked me how I do my makeup and what I do it with you've all said it's really good so thank you! (Although I stand by the fact it isn't ;) ) I received a few emails asking me to do a "whats in my makeup bag?" blog post, so here it is! Hope you enjoy! :)

 Primark Bag! Haha surprise surprise!

 Despite these not strictly being makeup products, I have decided to put them in anyway. (right to left) My L'Oreal Spray spray.Honestly, i could not recommend this more. It is brilliant for anything, from messing up a volume-less straight style to making you messy bun even messyer (is that even a word? haha) ! Next I simply have two de-frizzing products. The Charles Worthington 'frizz free' cream. This works on dry hair and just gives you a sleeker Doo :) There is also The L'Oreal 'Smooth&Hot', This does exactly the same but on wet hair!

 These are just a few of my brushes (truthfully, they're the only ones I could find!) In the picture I have a flat ended one for foundation/ powder, a petite crease one for eye shadow and a rounded end one for contouring.

 This is probably my favorite picture because as you may know, I LOVE painting my nails, weather it's bright or neautral but recently I have been loving this peachy, pinky, light colour that looks great on my skin tone! Firstly, I would like to show you the most beautiful sparkly stuff i've ever seen, Barry M treasure chest! I am so glad i bought this because its just beautiful and I will definitely be doing a post on it! I also have the wonderful Tanya Burr's 'Peaches and Cream'. This is my new Favorite and thats just about all I can say! Try it, you shall fall in love !

 First I will apologize for the awful quality of this photo! But anyway, it is the Rimmel bronzer and blusher and the Stay MATTE powder. These are lovely and subtle but great for school!

 This is another cheeky sneak in of some things that can't even fit in my makeup bag but they just smell soo good! All sweet smells and the Harijuku Doll one is Coconut.

 You will probably be confused to see this strange rhino eye shadow palette, but despite it being a cheapo palette from ebay, I have put this in my make up bag over even my Nars duo, which shows a lot. The colours are beautiful and slightly shimmery, they are all neutrals as you can see below. I also have some rhino eyeliner. I bought the Maybelline cover stick a few weeks ago and have not really had much of a chance to try it out but the times i have it has works really nicely and glides on like a cream. I just bought it for touch ups and quick fixes and it definitely does its job. I think The mascara and other concealer are obvious!

 Im aware you can hardly see these but I well you now, they are freaking B.E.A.UTIFUL! The Sexy mother Pucker Ralumpzel Gloss Stick. It is a dark red with strong blue/ purple tones. These blue tones are good because they make your teeth whiter. I also have the pink baby lips here. I like to use this on top of Vaseline because even though the colour is awesome, i've heard it drys your lips out, that's probably just a myth but anyway, better safe than sorry!!!
